Our son, Matt, is getting married to Meredith tomorrow at noon!
Sue & I had a great rehearsal dinner here at our house for the wedding party. We fed 33 people and were finished cleaning up by 8:30 pm! So I'm a bit charged up and Sue went to bed. I figured this was a great time to type up and post the clues to our 6 box series that we planted on October 1 when we were in Illinois.
This new series is called The Lincoln Trail and highlights 6 of the important Lincoln sites that are must-sees in our opinion. Originally we were going to plant each of these boxes at the individual sites. But then we happened on the Lincoln Gardens and Nature Center website and the rest is history! Over 5 miles of hiking trails along Lake Springfield.
We hope you get to Springfield to check out all of the Lincoln sites this series represents. It's a must vacation for any history of Lincoln buff. I really had a blast. Hope you all have a blast looking for these boxes.
