Boxing with Mark & Sue
Pinecone Adventures

Expect the Unexpected!
Pinecone Adventures is the letterboxing travel portion of our hobby. We love to travel and letterbox and thought others might like to join us as well. Sue & I offer group rates to all of our trip attendees and never make a penny on our trips. Our reward is the fun in getting different groups of boxers together in pursuit of this great hobby!
Listed below is the chronological listing of our sponsored events. We hope that you will join us in a future event!

Return to the Moor, Spring or Fall 2013, Dartmoor
A small group will once again storm the moor in search of letterboxes where it all began - the wild and beautiful Dartmoor National Park. We haven't yet planned a thing but you just have to ask our previous trip cohorts as to the magic that awaits on the moor! Attendees will be chosen from past members and those on our waiting list. This will be our third Pinecone Adventure on the moor and we're betting that three's a charm!

This forth edition of our popular fall weekend will
take place at the beautiful Woodbound Inn, Rindge, NH - all in the shadow of Mt. Monadnock. 12 miles of hiking trails, private beach area on a lake, cabins, motel style and inn rooms round out the choices of accommodations. You can always count on a good time when you mix a great

Bed & Boxing #3 - A Green Mountain Adventure, October 22 - 24, Mystery Location, VT
It's our 3rd annual Bed & Boxing weekend but this time in a brand new mystery location (easy to decipher) in the Green Mountains of Vermont. And no, it's not West Dover!!!
This
new location in VT offers many extras that we haven't had in the past:
an indoor family-sized hot tub, 2 individual heat-controlled dry heat
saunas, a nice multi-level deck overlooking the outside pool (may be
closed) & the Green Mountains and even a game room that includes
ping pong, air hockey and more.
Meals are much heartier this
year. One change is that we will not have the Friday Night Welcome
Buffet. We'll move that to Saturday night since many found it difficult
and stressful getting to the inn in time on Friday evening. I have
other plans for a group social time on Friday night at about 8pm!!!!!!!!
Either eat dinner at the inn on your own or stop on your way up on
Friday - either way your Friday night meal is not included in the rate.
Don't miss this one which is limited to only 50 attendees. We're almost full at this writing. This will be our best Bed & Boxing event ever!!!
Mini Meet with Mark & Sue, February 12, St. Augustine, FL
Our love of travel (and the chance for warmer weather) takes us to the historic town of St. Augustine, FL. We'll be visiting for the week and set up this little mini meet on Friday, February 12 from 6pm to 9pm at a restaurant to be determined. Click on the Atlas Quest link on the title above to sign up. Since this is an official Pinecone Adventure, you get our special traveler if you attend this or any of the other events listed on this page.

Bed & Boxing Redux, Weekend of October 30 - November 1, Jackson, NH
Part 2 of our Bed & Boxing fun! This time it's a little earlier in hopes we get better weather! Since it's over Halloween weekend, we ask that you bring your favorite costume for our Halloween-themed Friday night Welcome Buffet. New boxes to premiere amidst the quaint countryside of this typical New England village. If you couldn't make last year, we hope you can this time!
