Sue & I are sponsoring a New Boxers Gathering Weekend on April 23- 25 in West Dover, VT. It includes a Saturday learning experience where boxers will be shown the basics of everything from choosing an image, manipulation of the image, transfer to your carving media, some carving tool suggestions, crafting an easy handmade logbook, clue-writing techniques, etc.
Far from experts, we'll share our experience as well as that from a great staff of experienced letterboxers who we've assembled. We appreciate their generous donation of talent and time. Come, learn and then enjoy some of the myriad of area boxes; many planted last June for our Back to Our Roots gathering. We'll be sure to keep you busy - all in the beautiful, postcard setting of the Green Mountains in southern VT.
Day trippers for the Saturday event are welcomed as well. Join us for the day if that's what your schedule permits. But those interested in spending several nights at a quaint B & B, we also offer that alternative. Rates have just come in and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how cost effective the rates are for two people.
